Train Jiujitsu

Jeff's training in jiu-jitsu began at Four Seasons MMA in Lexington Kentucky under now Carlson Gracie Jr. black belt Mike O'Donnell in the fall of 1998. Relocation and training related injuries slowed down Jeff's progress on the mat. But, in November of 2000 he was promoted to blue belt by legendary BJJ Icon Royce Gracie. Royce told him after seeing him roll for five minutes with other students 'Go put on a blue belt enough said!" In December of 2004 Jeff was promoted to purple belt by Rickson Gracie black belt Romolo Barros. For the last three years Jeff has been honored to be able to train under the Purebred banner. Legendary MMA fighter and BJJ black belt Enson Inoue has allowed Jeff to teach students under the Purebred name. Being able to instill the fundamentals of BJJ to children, adults, and new students is Jeff's goal. BJJ is a sport where one can start fairly young and continue throughout their lives.
